Esta série de trabalhos é composta por uma miniescultura de papel de seres vivos e uma microcasa. A série de trabalhos intitulada VIA propõe ao observador uma nova forma de contemplação meditativa da natureza, pois ressignifica os seres vivos por meio de miniesculturas de papel, como uma pequena via de encantamento iniciada na natureza exterior que reverbera até a morada interior. Dessa forma, a microcasa incorporada aos trabalhos faz referência ao filósofo Gaston Bachelard, que denota a casa como morada interior da subjetividade, nutrida pelo êxtase diante da multiplicidade infinita da natureza, levando o sonhador a reencontrar o universo e, ao mesmo tempo, reconhecer-se nele. No mesmo sentido, Santa Teresa dʼÁvila metaforiza a alma humana como um conjunto de moradas interiores, em que cada uma representa um grau de aprofundamento no conhecimento de si e na aproximação com o Divino. Dessa forma, a contemplação meditativa da natureza expressa por meio da arte é especialmente transformadora, pois o encantamento por aquilo que por vezes é considerado ordinário é uma poderosa via de acesso à morada interior habitada pela grandeza.

This series of works consists of paper mini-sculptures of living beings accompanied by a miniature house. Entitled VIA, the series invites the viewer to experience a new form of meditative contemplation of nature by reinterpreting living beings through paper mini-sculptures, creating a small pathway of wonder that begins in the external world of nature and reverberates within one’s inner dwelling. The miniature house incorporated into the works refers to the philosopher Gaston Bachelard, who conceives of the house as an inner dwelling of subjectivity, nourished by the sense of ecstasy inspired by nature’s infinite multiplicity, leading the dreamer to rediscover the universe while simultaneously recognizing themselves within it. In a similar sense, Saint Teresa of Ávila uses the metaphor of the human soul as a series of inner dwellings, each representing a deeper degree of self-knowledge and a closer relationship with the Divine. Thus, the meditative contemplation of nature expressed through art becomes especially transformative, as the sense of wonder inspired by what is sometimes regarded as ordinary becomes a powerful pathway to the inner dwelling inhabited by greatness.
